I am employed as GDA for Laois county board.

I have a number of both important and enjoyable duties to carry out in this role.

I co-ordinate Go Games fixtures in the county both hurling and football to ensure our kids have equal playing time to develop their skills and a fun safe environment. My main role here is to ensure every child gets equal playing time to ensure they stay playing our game.

I am also Post Primary co-ordinator in this role I ensure all our post primary needs are being met both on a coaching level and coach education to our Transition year students. We also offer Resistance training to some of our schools this year as part of our new initiative.

I will also have a new role to look forward too in 2020 as lead coach to all our squad football teams and working closely with all our squad mentors.

I have a number of other duties to carry out also with Coach Education, Primary schools and catering for the needs of 8 football clubs, our main objective with the clubs is mentoring the coaches and to help assist them so they can provide the coaching to their players so it is both developmental and fun.
