Laois Hire O’Moore Park in Portlaoise will host a major Leinster GAA Football Championship Semi-Final this Saturday evening as Louth take on Dublin.

A large crowd is expected in Portlaoise for the fixture, with throw-in scheduled for 7pm.

Supporters travelling to the game are advised to plan ahead, allow extra time for traffic, follow all directions from Gardaí and stewards, and use official parking areas only.

Supporters are encouraged to allow extra time when travelling to Portlaoise, with congestion expected on the main routes approaching the town.

Those travelling by car can use the M7 exits at Junctions 15, 16, 17 and 18 to access Portlaoise and Laois Hire O’Moore Park.

With a large attendance expected, early arrival is strongly advised.

About Laois Hire O’Moore Park

Laois Hire O’Moore Park is the county grounds of Laois GAA and is located on Fr Browne Avenue in Portlaoise, County Laois.

The stadium is home to the Laois senior hurling and Gaelic football teams and hosts a wide range of fixtures throughout the year, including intercounty championship games, league matches, county finals and major club fixtures.

Due to its central location and facilities, Laois Hire O’Moore Park is also regularly used as a neutral venue for major intercounty games.

Stadium Facilities

Laois Hire O’Moore Park has a spectator capacity of approximately 22,000, with seating for around 6,500 patrons.

The stadium includes two end terraces and an uncovered terrace running the length of the pitch, providing extensive standing accommodation for large championship crowds.

The venue is fully floodlit and capable of hosting evening fixtures, including major championship games under lights.
