Empowering Lives Through Education, Self-Care, Embodiment & Community
The Arc Project are currently running a Family Support Service every Monday evening from 7:00 to 8:00 PM at the Laois Partnership Building (Prefabs). Their goal is to create a safe and supportive space for families navigating the challenges of addiction and recovery.
At The ARC Project, they believe that addiction is not the end of the story—it’s the beginning of a journey toward healing, empowerment, and change. Their mission is to break the stigma surrounding addiction by providing individuals, families, and communities with the tools they need to rebuild, reconnect, and reclaim their lives.
The ARC PROJECT was created to build on the excellent work already being done by addiction services in Laois while addressing a clear need expressed by the recovery community, families, and friends – those affected by addiction. This need highlights a gap in providing family support at the community level. The ARC project is not about re-inventing the wheel – more about “joining the dots” by providing a more connected and comprehensive approach to recovery support. This includes offering new family-focused support and ensuring that those affected by addiction—whether directly or indirectly—have access to the resources, guidance, and community they need to heal and thrive. It is a response to the shared desire for greater collaboration and expanded services to meet the diverse needs of individuals and families in recovery.
