Laois GAA Congratulates William Delaney and Pam Cooney on Event Controlling Qualification.
Laois GAA would like to extend sincere congratulations to Pam Cooney and William Delaney on being conferred with their Certificate in Event Controlling under the auspices of South East Technological University Carlow.
This is a significant achievement and one that will play an important role in supporting the continued safe and professional delivery of games and events across the county.
The programme is designed to develop expertise in the planning, management and evaluation of events, with a strong focus on ensuring the safety and wellbeing of all stakeholders, including players, officials, spectators, personnel, media and local residents.
Through a combination of online and onsite sessions, participants gained practical and theoretical knowledge in key areas such as risk management, contingency planning, communication, and crowd behaviour.
On completion of the programme, participants are equipped to:
