So simple and yet so powerful.
Barrowhouse GAA unveiled their new jersey’s last month which carries a simple health and wellbeing message and is a real conversation starter.
Inspired by a mural of Carlow club Eire Og, Alan Langton of Clear Financial who sponsored the jerseys suggested the inclusion of the ‘Talk it Over’ message to be added to the jersey instead of usual company logo. The club were delighted to run with this and the jerseys are now proudly worn by the U17s right up to the adult football teams.
Reaching out to those who are vulnerable in our communities is so important and this small gesture by the club is a simple but powerful message. Barrowhouse GAA wanted to send a clear message to its club members and those in the community that #ItsOKNotToBeOK
The Health & Wellbeing Committee would like to commend Barrowhouse on this great intiative and for lending their voice to the most vulnerable in our communities.
