Paul Kingston made his 50th NFL app, 4347 days after his league debut. Paul Kingston becomes the 48th Laois footballer to make a 50th NFL appearance and only the second Killeen player to do so, after his brother did it in 2018.

Captain Bryan Byrne produced a strong performance at centre back, he worked hard defensively to win back possession, created turnovers, carried ball well and his accurate kick passes to Laois forwards led to attacking opportunities.
Paddy O’Sullivan was excellent throughout at right half back. With great pace on display, he continously made bursting runs through the Limerick defensive line to open up space for Laois attacks and also scored a lovely point from play himself.
