The Laois senior footballers will play their Round 1 game in the 2025 Leinster Senior Football Championship when they face Wexford away on Saturday April 5th in Wexford Park at 6pm.
The winners of Laois vs Wexford will face Louth in the quarter final in a neutral venue on the weekend of April 12th/13th. The defeated team will exit Leinster and enter the Tailteann Cup come the All Ireland stages.

Forward Mark Barry was fantastic in front of goal as he scored 2 goals (with only the crossbar preventing his hat trick) and 4 points.
As a result of this stellar performance against Wexford that day, Mark Barry was nominated for GAA Player of the Week on April 11th 2023.
