The Heath v Portarlington

The Heath: 0-12

Portarlington: 2-16

The Heath: Neil Keane was solid at the back as he defended well. Paddy Fitzpatrick (0-5) impressed with smart passing, strong running, and kicked two fine two pointers. James Phelan (0-3) was accurate, combining well with Fitzpatrick to drive attacks.

Portarlington: Ronan Coffey (0-2, 1 free) broke lines with pace, winning frees and delivering key passes. Jordan Fitzpatrick (1-2) scored a well taken goal and set up other chances. Tom Corcoran was strong in defence, while Darragh Galvin (0-5) kicked excellent points.

Ballyroan Abbey v Emo 

Ballyroan Abbey: 3-19

Emo: 3-10

Ballyroan-Abbey: In defence, Conaire Gee (0-1) worked tirelessly, winning possession and driving forward. Midfielder Killian Byrne showcased superb pace, linking play seamlessly and dictating the game. Ciaran Byrne was central to attacks, creating Marty Scully’s goal with a decisive break. James McWey (0-5) kicked two excellent two-pointers, one from play and one from a free.

Emo: Davy Costello’s bursts of pace created scoring chances, while Sean Greene impressed with physicality, turnovers, and a perfect kick pass to Paddy Hosey, leading to Ross Meredith’s converted penalty. Darren Strong and Niall Gorman added well taken goals from play.

Graiguecullen v Stradbally 

Graiguecullen: 2-18

Stradbally: 1-17

Graiguecullen: Aaron Forbes (1-3) struck a two-pointer from play and finished a superb move, palming Aaron Dorgan’s paced run and high ball to the net. Dorgan (0-1) impressed in midfield, while Danny McGrath was rock solid defensively, winning possession from high balls and producing key tackles and turnovers.

Stradbally: Cillian Maher (0-10) was outstanding, landing four brilliant two-pointers, two from play and two frees. Jack Deegan dominated midfield with high catches and neat passes, while David Donohue scored an excellent goal.

Arles Killeen v Rosenallis 

Arles Killeen: 3-17

Rosenallis: 3-15

Arles Killeen: Colin Dunne (3-3) was outstanding, scoring three goals from play by timing his runs perfectly. Donie Kingston dominated midfield, winning two kickouts that led to 2 of Dunne’s goals and secured frees. Oisin Byrne (0-5) excelled winning high balls and scored the final point to seal the win.

Rosenallis: John O’Loughlin impressed in midfield playmaking and provided accurate kick passes. Jack Claffey scored two excellent two-pointers from play, while Jack Friel added two great goals. David Dooley was strong in defence with tackles and turnovers. Charlie Friel netted the third goal from a fine Eoin Dunne pass.

Killeshin v Clonaslee St.Manman’s

Killeshin: 2-17

Clonaslee St.Manman’s: 0-9

Killeshin: Jack Milton showed immense work rate, creating crucial turnovers to launch attacks. Conor Heffernan was dominant in midfield, winning kickouts and making vital tackles, also helping set up both goals. Micheal Doran (0-2) attacked with pace and brilliantly set up Evan English’s goal. Evan English (1-2) was clinical throughout.

Clonaslee St Manman’s: Niall Corbet (0-2) drove forward from midfield, carrying possession and winning frees. Bob Downey (0-4) impressed with superb long range scores, curling between the posts, two outstanding two pointers from play, using the outside of his boot.

Courtwood v Crettyard

Courtwood: 2-23

Crettyard: 0-10

Crettyard: Alex Whelan was strong in midfield, winning possession with key interceptions. Cormac Murphy (0-4) was accurate from range, landing two excellent two‑point frees. Jonah Kelly (0-1) caught superbly, turned inside, and scored a fine point under pressure while also supplying clever forward passes.

Courtwood: Cian Doyle (0-3) impressed with interceptions, runs into space, and superb playmaking, setting up Ryan Little (2-3) for one of his two great goals from play. Doyle and Little combined to huge effect to create a great amount of scores. Sean O’Flynn dominated midfield, winning possession and adding a valuable two point score from play.

Portlaoise v O’Dempsey’s 

Portlaoise: 5-17

O’Dempsey’s: 2-8

Portlaoise: Ben O’Connor (0-2) was solid in defence. Darren Brennan impressed in attack with 0-4, including a two‑point free. Ricky Maher (0-7, 0-2 frees) was a key playmaker, involved in goals, one for Conor O’Callaghan (2-1) and Colin McEvoy, with Emmett Maloney and Josh Hogan also finding the net.

O’Dempsey’s: Mark Barry starred in attack with 1-4 (1 free). Dan McCormack netted a goal. Johnny Kelly defended well and scored a point, while Brian Nugent (0-2) and Joe Finn (0-1) contributed from play.

St.Joseph’s v Ballyfin

St.Joseph’s: 1-18

Ballyfin: 0-5

St.Joseph’s: in defence, Adam Campion dominated in the air, winning numerous high balls to break up attacks. Midfield and main playmaker Mikie Dempsey (0‑1) linked defence and attack effectively. Up front, Mick Keogh was outstanding in creating turnovers and scored 0‑6.

For Ballyfin, Sean Moore shone in attack, hitting 0‑5 (0‑2 from play, 0‑3 frees) with consistent accurate kicking. Shane Connolly rattled the crossbar with a goal chance after breaking into space, while Darragh Connolly worked tirelessly at full back.
