IHC Final:

Clonad: 1-18

Mountrath: 1-13

Clonad:

James Whelan led from midfield winning high ball and with clever long balls in, drove Clonad attacks. Liam Whelan defended superbly, tackling hard and reading the game well to turnover possession. Patrick O’Callaghan (0-3) was impressive in attack, scored three fine points from play, alongside providing a lovely pinpoint delivery to Fionn Holland and Holland’s quick hand pass then created Dan O’Sullivan’s goal.

Mountrath:

Ruairi Carroll was strong in the half back line, intercepting and clearing under pressure with calm assurance. Tom Kirwan’s pace and movement in attack set up scores, linking play and drawing frees. Eoin Brennan dominated his sides scoreline, brilliantly won long ball and converted chances with accuracy, finishing with 1-7 (1-4 frees) in a standout display of strength and composure.

SHC Semi Finals:

Clough-Ballacolla: 3-23

Ballinakill: 0-23

Clough-Ballacolla:

Cillian Dunne (1-7, 0-3 frees) inspired CB with tireless work rate and sharp finishing from play and frees, his extra-time attacking surge of a great goal and points proved decisive. Mark Hennessy supported superbly, winning long and high ball plus released quick passes that directly led to 2 goals. In midfield, Kevin Mulhall (0-1) impressed in midfield with aerial strength and precise distribution, repeatedly setting up attacks with pin point accurate long balls to forwards.

Ballinakill:

Podge Lawlor was immense at half back, combining power and timing to win crucial tackles and launch purposeful clearances. Ethan Drury (0-1) moved intelligently in attack, using pace to create space and link play effectively. Ryan Quinlan (0-1) added composure on the wing, using possession wisely. Cha Dywer was exceptional and again in top form, capping off his brilliant season with his trademark play of perfectly hitting long range frees. (0-10 from frees).

Camross: 2-21

Rathdowney-Errill: 0-15

Rathdowney-Errill:

John Purcell anchored the defence with authority, two key interceptions turning defence into attack. His anticipation and calm clearances steadied his side. Jack Kelly (0-4) was lively in attack, winning high ball, linking play, and taking scores with confidence. Thep Fitzpatrick’s work in midfield provided control and drive, adding two excellent points and linking defence to attack seamlessly.

Camross:

Eoin Gaughan at centre back, stood out with three outstanding long-range frees and a fine point from play, his pace from the back line also instrumental. Darragh Duggan was strong and reliable at corner back, reading danger well and tackling brilliantly. Liam Delaney was excellent in midfield, carrying possession well and scoring 0-3. Up front, Mossy Keyes (0-6) was outstanding, winning high ball and finishing brilliantly under pressure, showing composure and class throughout.
