The current table standings in Div.1B are as follows:

Round 6 Recap:

Antrim: 4-22

Laois: 0-21

Laois: Aaron Dunphy 0-10 (five frees, two 65s), Paddy Purcell 0-2, Podge Delaney 0-2 (frees), Tomas Keyes 0-2, David Dooley 0-1, Fiachra C-Fennell 0-1, Mark Dowling 0-1, John Lennon 0-1, Cormac Byrne 0-1

Antrim: James McNaughton 2-11 (0-6 frees), Conor Johnston 1-2, Keelan Molloy 1-1, Gerard Walsh 0-3, Ryan McCambridge 0-2, Cormac McKeown 0-1, Joe Maskey 0-1, Eoghan Campbell 0-1

Standout Players (Laois):

David Dooley: Went on attacking runs with pace from midfield multiple times and made good passes in link up play to create scoring chances. Using his physical strength, he won puckouts and frees in midfield which Aaron Dunphy converted from long range. Dooley scored a great point from play himself, from distance and from midfield also.

Paddy Purcell at full forward came off injured in the 50th minute but was impressive prior to this. Displayed brilliant skill with a dummy to beat his marker and score a point from play. Scored his 2nd point from play from long range.

Podge Delaney was particularly excellent in the 2nd half. With 2 massive points from frees from long range, both from inside his own half. He made an excellent defensive move when he made a strong tackle on Keelan Molloy to win back possession and clear danger. This same play also led to a Willie Dunphy goal chance and an Aaron Dunphy point from 65.
